Yes. It is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone. Clues lead you from place to place through downtown, from Labor Plaza past spots like Venue Villita, the Briscoe Western Art Museum and the San Antonio Fire Museum. There is no guide, and you can start whenever you like.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts and ends at Labor Plaza, so it is a loop of about 2.5 km. Along the way you visit stops including St. John's Lutheran Church, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the San Antonio Hotel and Tributary before heading back to the plaza.
How long does it take?
Most players take around two hours, including the walking and time spent solving puzzles. You can pause the game and continue later if you want a break for food or a rest, so you do not have to finish it in one go.
Can we play as a group, or solo?
Both work. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can team up to outsmart the witch on one phone. Solo players can take on the challenges alone and compare their result on the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no group to join and no set start time, so you can begin at Labor Plaza whenever suits you. The game runs outdoors on your phone, and you can pause it and pick up again later from where you stopped.
