Questo is a mobile app for city exploration games. With Questo, users play some mission-like tours called quests through solving clues for discovering new places and stories. Each quest lasts on average 2 hours to play and can be explored both outdoors and indoors. Our mission is to transform every place into a game, by promoting local heritage, sharing unique stories and supporting local communities.

Quest: digital self-guided tour which can be explored by solving clues. It lasts around 2 hours.

Clue: text or text with picture that contains mandatory information for completing a quest.

Extra clue: additional information for helping in solving a clue and finishing a quest.

Questo is a product owned by Questo Global SRL, a private company having its offices in Romania, Jud. Sibiu, Cisnadie, Stejarului Street, 20.

  1. Applicability of Terms of use

Before using our mobile app or visit our website you must read these terms of use. By using our app/website, you agree to all of our terms described here and understand to accept all our conditions. These terms might suffer modifications every once in a while.

  1. Privacy Your privacy is very important to us therefore we are committed on protecting all the information you share with us. Please read more about it here.

  2. Disclaimer about the given information We do our best to assure a good quality of all our quests. Every given clue or story is reviewed multiple times, but even so, errors might happen. If you encounter one, please let us know by writing us on the feedback section or directly by mail to explore@questoapp.com.

  3. Warranties We can no offer any warranties that either our app or website is or will be flawless. Errors may occur for various reasons and when they happen we are committed to fixing them as soon as possible.

  4. Liability Questo’s responsibility is limited to offering access to our app and website. The use of any quest for exploring a city is at your own risk. Questo’s liability for any damage that might happen during a quest is zero.

  5. Proprietary material All text, graphics, editorial content, data, formatting, graphs, designs, HTML, look and feel, photographs, music, sounds, images, software, videos, designs, typefaces and other content (collectively “Proprietary Material”) that you see or read on the Questo app or website is owned by us, or is used with the owner’s permission. This Proprietary Material is protected in all forms, media and technologies. You may not copy, download, use redesign, reconfigure, or retransmit anything from this website without our prior written permission.

  6. Intellectual property rights The Questo app, website, and Collective Content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the EU. You acknowledge and agree that the app, website, and content, including all associated intellectual property rights, are the exclusive property of Questo and its licensors. Therefore, you cannot remove or alter any copyright mark or other proprietary rights incorporated in or accompanying the app, website or collective content.

Creators room content:

All the content uploaded by users in the Creators Room must be validated by a Questo staff member before publishing it in the app. Questo has no obligation to publish a quest that does not fit its quality guidelines.

All logos and any other proprietary designations of Questo used on or in connection with the app, website, and content are trademarks or registered trademarks of Questo in the EU and abroad. Trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names and any other proprietary designations of third parties used on or in connection with the app, website and content are used for identification purposes only and may be the property of their respective owners.

  1. Copyright policy We respect the intellectual property rights of others and are willing to respond to any claim that speaks about an infringement happening on our app/website.

If you are a copyright owner and believe that your copyrighted work appears in our app/website in a way that represents infringement, please submit a notice to explore@questoapp.com or write us directly in the feedback section of the app. Keep in mind though, that you might be held accountable (including costs and attorneys’ fees) for misrepresenting that any Content is infringing your copyright.
