Is the event taking place outdoors?
Yes, everything happens outside. You’re not entering any of the locations. You’re just enjoying all the exterior layers of the city, some which you didn’t even know existed.
How do I use the app?
It’s very easy, really. Just download it from any app store, register a new account with the same email address you used for the purchase, and follow the simple instructions inside. We have players aged 7-99+, so really anyone can use it. If you encounter any difficulties using the app at any time, we have a live chat feature inside the app where you can get in touch with someone from our team (a real human nonetheless) in real-time. Go to Settings to find it.
I bought a ticket for two, how do I use it?
You will receive an email with instructions on how to get access to the app for yourself immediately upon purchase on the website. In that email, you will also be explained how to invite others to join (there’s an invite feature in the app). This is in case everyone wants to have the game on their phones (it’s not compulsory, but it enhances the experience for most people).
Does the game end where it started?
No, they usually don’t, so please make sure you check the ending point in the app so that you know where you end up in case you need to get back (unless you use a remote controlled car!).
Is the event suitable for kids?
Yes, kids can join you in your adventure if this Valentine’s Day date is not a ‘no kids zone’ for you.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, doggos are allowed.
Can I bring my pet koala?
Why would you have a pet koala?! But yes.
What are the COVID precautions?
The event happens outdoor, in the city, it’s as safe as any walk you would take. The entire experience happens with your smartphone as support, there is no staff you need to interact with. Or props you need to touch. You can go at your own pace, when and how you feel comfortable. You should not participate if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
What happens if the weather is scary?
You can play the game at any time and any day, so you can postpone it for later after you make the purchase.
Is the route accessible for wheelchair users?
We can’t guarantee it at this time. We’ll make efforts to have this for future events.
Is there food and drinks available?
No, sorry, we’re great storytellers, but very poor cooks.
What happens if the event is cancelled?
The event will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances or if the official local COVID gathering rules change close to the event date. If the event is cancelled, you will have a choice between a refund or another ticket to a postponed date.
