Does the route go through the Macca-Villacrosse Passage?
Yes. Vilacrosse is one of the stops, and the route also takes in Pasajul Victoria and Pasajul Englez, along with Stavropoleos, Capsa, Piața Odeon, the Memorialul Renașterii and the Carol I statue in central Bucharest.
Where does the quest start and how long does it take?
It starts at the Ateneul Român and finishes back there after ten stops. The walk covers about 2 km and takes around an hour, though you can go at your own pace and pause to continue later.
Is the quest available in English?
No, it is available only in Romanian. It is a scavenger hunt built around the 1916 story of soldiers moving the gold to safety, and it does not include stories about the places you pass, so it suits players who want puzzles rather than a history tour.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play in the evening?
There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like from your phone and can pause and pick up later. Playing at night is not recommended, so plan to walk the route in daylight.
