How does the gift work?
- Purchase an Xmas gift game through our website.
- You will receive an email containing the gift code that unlocks that particular game. The code is valid for redemption for an entire year!
- Forward that email containing the gift code to your loved ones or just send them the gift code inside (we recommend forwarding)
How do I redeem a 'gifted' game?
- Go to the Questo webpage for the game you received the gift code for.
- Select ‘Unlock Game’ in the purchase section of that page.
- Add your gift code and your email address.
- Check your emails for confirmation.
How long is this gift valid for use?
From the day of redemption any game purchased as a gift will be valid for one calendar year. The game can be paused and returned to at any time and we encourage you to play at your own pace for an optimal experience.
How do I buy for multiple people?
You can use the 'participants' dial on the game page and buy for more than one person (under a single multi-use code).
Is the game an outdoor activity?
Yes, everything takes place outside and entering any indoor attractions isn’t required. You’re just enjoying all the exterior layers of the city, some of which you probably didn’t even know existed.
How do I use the app?
It’s very easy, really. Just download it from the Apple store or the Google Play store, register a new account with the same email address you used for the purchase and follow the simple instructions inside. We have players aged 7-99+, so really anyone can use it.
What if I need additional help?
If you encounter any difficulties using the app at any time, we have a snappy live chat feature inside the app where you can get in touch with someone from our team (a real human) in real-time. Go to Settings within the Questo app to find it.
Does the game end where it started?
Our games usually don’t, so please make sure you check the ending point in the app so that you know where you’ll end up for accessibility (unless you use a remote-controlled car!).
Is the game suitable for kids?
Yes, absolutely, families are welcome. There’s a lot of educational content and history on top of our fun puzzles/riddles.
What are the COVID precautions?
The game is 100% outdoors, so it’s as safe as any walk you would take and it counts as light exercise. The entire experience is contactless (excluding anyone you decide to invite along) so there is no staff along the route you need to interact with or props you need to touch. You can go at your own pace, when and how you feel comfortable.
That said, you should not start the game if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
