What is the Cronophone?
In the story you are new beta testers for a fictional company, ChronoCore Industries, using an experimental device called the Cronophone on your phone. At each site you solve temporal puzzles to keep history on track as you move through Copenhagen's key moments across the centuries.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Marmorbroen and finishes at Rosenborg Castle, so it does not end where it began. In between you pass the courthouse, the Third City Hall, Gammeltorv, the cathedral, the Round Tower, the Stork Fountain, the King's New Square, Nyhavn, Amalienborg Palace, Frederik's Church, Odd Fellow Palace and the King's Garden.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Most players take about three hours, walking and puzzles included, over a route of 4.3 km. There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like, and you can pause the game and continue later, which makes a break along the way easy.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no tour group to join and no guide, so your friends or family set your own pace and solve the puzzles together on the walk.
Does the route visit Frederik's Church?
Yes. Frederik's Church is the eleventh of 14 stops, reached after Amalienborg Palace and followed by Odd Fellow Palace, the King's Garden and Rosenborg Castle. As at every stop, the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
Is Time Travelers Cronophone in Copenhagen self-guided?
