Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Caragiale's grave, Figura 9 in Bellu Cemetery, and returns there at the end, so you finish where you began. In between, the route visits the graves of actors and artists including Elena Izvoranu, Liviu Ciulei, Constantin Tănase and the Dalles family.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 1.4 km inside Bellu Cemetery. Along the way you stop at 14 graves, hear the story behind each one and solve a puzzle at each stop. You can pause and continue later if you need a break.
Is the quest available in English?
No. This quest is available only in Romanian, including the stories and the puzzles, so every player needs to read Romanian comfortably. Visitors who do not speak the language should pick a different Bucharest quest.
Do we need to buy tickets or book a time?
No attraction tickets are required, and there is no fixed time slot. You start whenever you like. We do recommend playing in daylight rather than at night, as the whole route runs through the cemetery.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, and you play together at your own pace with no guide. It works well for friends or couples who share an interest in Romanian theatre.
