Old City context
A maritime republic preserved inside its walls
Dubrovnik became an important Mediterranean sea power from the 13th century. Despite the devastating earthquake of 1667 and damage during conflict in the 1990s, its walled center preserves Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. The time-travel story is fictional; the city’s maritime power, architecture and cycles of destruction and restoration are real. Playable languages: English, German.
