Where does the Domenii detective quest start and finish?
It starts at Mănăstirea Cașin and finishes at Arhitect, so you end in a different spot from where you began. The route runs through the Domenii neighbourhood, along streets such as Constantinescu, Zorileanu and Sandu-Aldea, for about 2.5 km.
How long does the quest take?
Most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included, over roughly 2.5 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
What language is the quest in?
The quest is available only in Romanian. All clues and puzzles are in Romanian, so every player needs to read the language comfortably to follow the investigation.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No booking is needed. The quest is free to play, and you can start any time on your phone with no guide and no group to join, so friends or couples can simply set off together from Mănăstirea Cașin.
Can we play it in the evening?
It is recommended not to play at night. The puzzles rely on details you spot outdoors on the houses of Domenii, such as columns, a bas-relief and an exotic facade, which are easiest to see in daylight.
