Can we explore Muzeul Satului in Bucharest as a phone game?
Yes. The app guides you on foot through the open-air Village Museum with Păcală as your companion. You visit old homesteads such as Casa din Breaza, Casa din Șerel, Gospodăria Lăzești and the wine grower's farmstead from Gorj, and you solve a mission at each stop.
Where does the game start, and is museum entry included?
You must start at Entrance A of Muzeul Satului, Șoseaua Kiseleff 28, and the route ends back at the same entrance. Museum admission is not included in the quest ticket, so buy your museum entry separately before you begin.
How long does it take, and when should we arrive?
Plan on about 75 minutes for roughly 4 km of walking along the museum paths. Arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before the museum closes so you have enough time to finish. You can pause the game and pick it up again during your visit.
Is the quest available in English?
No. The quest is available only in Romanian, including the stories at each stop and the missions. It suits visitors who read Romanian comfortably. Children who are still learning to read will need a parent to read the clues aloud.
Is it a good fit for children?
It is aimed at families with primary-school children. They follow Păcală, a well-known character from Romanian folklore, between village houses, a carousel, a church and a beeswax press, solving missions along the way. The route is about 4 km on foot and fully outdoors.
