Does the quest go to Levante Beach, and is it near the Old Town?
Yes. Levante Beach is the second stop, right after you set off from the New Town towards the Old. From there the route heads into the Old Town's streets, including Tapas Alley and Mosaic Alley, before reaching the Balcón del Mediterráneo.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the stop called Leaving the New Town for the Old and finishes at Launch Bay, so it is not a loop. On the way you pass Levante Beach, Museo Boca del Calvari, the Balcón del Mediterráneo and Benidorm Port, covering about 3.1 km.
How long does it take?
Most players take around two and a half hours, including the walking and the puzzles. You can pause at any point and carry on later, and in cooler weather you can step inside to warm up at almost any location along the route.
Is it good for kids?
It suits children of roughly 6 to 12 best. The story casts players as Beni, a young explorer looking for a new ship, and the riddles use real clues on the streets and seafront. Younger children may find the 3.1 km walk and the length tiring.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no set start time and no guide to meet, so you begin whenever you like. It is best played in daylight, and no attraction tickets are needed for any stop.
