Frequently asked questions
Is there a detective game you can play in Benidorm?
Yes. This is a self-guided detective mystery played on your phone as you walk about 2 km through Benidorm. A whistleblower draws you into the plans of a powerful secret society, and you follow clues and crack codes to expose it before its next scheme unfolds.
How long does the Benidorm mystery walk take?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover the roughly 2 km route and solve the puzzles along the way. You set the pace yourself, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want a break for food or a drink.
Is it suitable for children?
The game is aimed at adults and families with teenagers. The story centres on a secret society and a whistleblower, and progress depends on cracking codes, so it suits teens who enjoy puzzles. Younger children may find the clues hard to follow over 90 minutes.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet. You start whenever you are ready, and one ticket covers your whole group, so friends or family can work through the clues together as you walk.
What happens if it rains?
The game is played outdoors on foot, so you will be outside for most of the roughly 2 km route. Because you can pause and pick it up again later, you can wait out a shower or finish on a drier day.
What is the Benidorm Detective Mystery about?
A whistleblower pulls you into a fictional conspiracy involving a secret society. You follow the investigation through Benidorm, solving clues before its next plan can unfold.
Is this experience self-guided?
Yes. The Questo app guides you from clue to clue, with no guide or fixed start time. You can begin when it suits you and pause along the way.
How many accesses does our group need?
Classic quests sell access per device and player. Each person who wants to solve clues on their own phone needs their own access.
