Yes. There are no time slots, so you can start whenever you like, including on MLK Day. The route runs along Auburn Avenue past the King Center, Ebenezer Baptist Church and Dr. and Mrs. King's Tomb, and it is best played during the day.
Where does the walk start?
The quest starts at 501 Auburn Avenue in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood. From there the app leads you to each stop, including the Memorial Mural, the Masonic Building, the Mohandas Gandhi Statue and King's former elementary school, telling the story of each place along the way.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2.5 km at an easy pace. You can pause at any point, take a break on Auburn Avenue, and continue later from where you stopped.
