This year, among them is the daughter of Demokritos, a renowned merchant. Desperate, he reaches out to you: “The place where she’s being held is hidden. Will you find her before it’s too late?”

You’ve been contacted by the merchant Demokritos: his daughter has been chosen as one of the sacrificial maidens for the Minotaur in Crete. It’s your job to follow divine clues hidden around Athens to find her hidden prison before it’s too late.
You start at The Discus Thrower sculpture (Irodou Attikou 27) and finish at the Academy of Athens. The route meanders through major historical and mythical landmarks across 5.2 km.
You’ll visit spots like the Areopagus Hill, The Pnyx, the Prison of Socrates, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates, Zeus’ Temple, and more. It mixes well-known historic sites with mythic storytelling.
