Is this a self-guided walking tour of Zagreb?
Yes. The app leads you on foot through the historic centre, from Cvjetni square past Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church, Lotrščak tower and Zrinjevac park. It tells the story of each place, with Old Slavic myths along the way, and sets a puzzle at each one. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Cvjetni square and finishes at the Gold sphere. In between you pass Ban Jelačić Square, Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church, Lotrščak tower, the Museum of Broken Relationships, Krvavi Most, Stube kralja Ladislava, Zrinjevac park and the Archaeological Museum.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take about 1 hour 40 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles, over 2.8 km. You can pause and continue later, and you can start at any time. The route is open around the clock, but it is better in daylight.
Is it good for kids?
It is rated easy and tagged family friendly. The puzzles are solved in what is in front of you, and the story follows a guardian among gods and mythical creatures, which suits school-age children. Bring water, a hat and sunscreen on warm days, plus a charged phone.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no need to book a time slot. Just start when you are ready at Cvjetni square and pause whenever you like.
