Frequently asked questions
Does the route go along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk?
Yes. The Boardwalk is one of the stops, and the walk also passes Atlantic Fun Park and the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum before finishing back at Virginia Legends Walk, where it starts. The full route covers about 2.2 km.
Does the quest stop at the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum?
Yes, the museum is one of the places on the route. The app leads you there as part of the trail to collect the Elements of Spirit, and the puzzle is built around what you can see in front of you on the walk.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at Virginia Legends Walk. Plan on around 90 minutes for the 2.2 km route and its 12 locations, a little longer if your group takes its time over the dares. There is no time slot to book, and you can pause and continue later.
Is it a good Christmas outing for kids?
Families with children are a big part of its audience. The puzzles, dares and joking characters suit kids old enough to follow clues and walk 2.2 km over about 90 minutes. Younger children will enjoy it more with an adult reading and solving alongside them.

Is Christmas Operation: Sleigh Down in Virginia Beach self-guided?
Yes. The Questo app guides you between locations without a tour guide or fixed departure. Start when it suits you and pause if needed.
Where does Christmas Operation: Sleigh Down in Virginia Beach start and finish?
It starts at Virginia Legends Walk, 1300 Pacific Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, USA and finishes at Point 12, 1300 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, USA. The route is approximately 2.2 km and includes 12 location-based puzzles.
