Frequently asked questions

Where can you play a riddle game in Toronto?
In Old Town Toronto, this walk turns the streets around St. Lawrence Market into a riddle trail. You chase a notorious thief across seven stops, including the Cathedral Church of St. James and the Omni King Edward Hotel, and each place gives you a new clue and a question to solve.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Duke's Refresher St Lawrence and ends back there, so the route is a loop of about 2.4 km. Along the way you pass St. Lawrence Market, the Cathedral Church of St. James, the Omni King Edward Hotel, One King West, Berczy Park and the Gooderham Building.
How long does it take?
Plan on about an hour for the 2.4 km walk, a little longer if you linger over the clues or browse St. Lawrence Market. You can pause the game at any point and continue later, so there is no need to rush.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book: start whenever you like and play on your phone with no guide or other players. One ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated, so a couple or a few friends can solve the clues together.
