Frequently asked questions

Do I need to play Vol 1 first?
No. This is the second chapter of The Disciples of the Blood trilogy, but each game is completely standalone. You follow Karina, a game designer forced to obey a ruthless sect, through her final and most dangerous challenge, and the story makes sense on its own.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Piazza di Spagna and finishes at Piazza Farnese, so it is not a loop. In between you pass Via dei Condotti, the Basilica of Saint Lawrence in Lucina, Palazzo Montecitorio, Piazza Capranica, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di San Pantaleo and Campo de' Fiori.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included, over about 2.3 km. It is best played during the day. You can start whenever you like and pause to continue later, so bring a fully charged phone or a power bank.
Is it suitable for children?
It is a horror-tinged murder mystery with medium to advanced puzzles, so it suits teenagers and adults best. Children under 12 should be guided by their parents, both through the darker parts of the story and through the harder puzzles.
Is it free, and do I need entry to Piazza Navona or other stops?
The quest is free to play, and no attraction entry is required at any point. Piazza Navona is a stop on the route, along with the Pantheon and Campo de' Fiori, and the puzzles are solved from what you can see as you walk through.
