In this unique walking tour, you will traverse the same streets the author walked in his lifetime, such as Porta Venezia and Via Alessandro Manzoni, places that inspired him to the point that even Renzo, the protagonist of the novel, will follow this itinerary!

Where does the Manzoni walk in Milan start and finish?
It starts at the Chiesa di San Carlo al Lazzaretto and finishes at the crossing between Via Meravigli and Via Santa Maria Segreta, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass Porta Venezia, Teatro Manzoni, Manzoni's house museum, Piazza San Fedele, the Duomo and Merchants Square.
How long does the walk take and how far is it?
Most players take just over two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles, and the route covers about 3.7 km. You can pause at any point and pick up where you left off later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same route. There is no tour group to join and no guide to keep up with: your own party follows the story and solves the puzzles together on a phone.
Do we need to book a time slot, and when is the best time to go?
No booking of a time is needed, since you can start whenever you like and pause along the way. To avoid large crowds, especially around the Duomo and the central squares, it is best to play on a weekday during working hours.
Is this a full adaptation of The Betrothed?
No. Manzoni’s novel and Milan are cultural inspiration for an original game story, not a full adaptation or literature lesson.
