Frequently asked questions
What is this Memphis detective quest about?
You are drawn into a conspiracy story after a whistleblower comes forward about The Kingmakers, a secret society said to have steered world leaders and global events for centuries. At each stop you decode clues hidden in what is around you and try to expose their next scheme before it happens.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Elvis Statue and loops back there at the end. Along the way the route takes in the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art, the African Americans from Memphis Mural, MLK Reflection Park, the FedEx Forum and Beale Street.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2 km, outdoors on city streets. You can pause the game whenever you like, stop for food or a drink, and carry on later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
The game is written with adults and families with teens in mind. Teenagers who enjoy codes and mystery stories tend to get the most from it, while younger children may find the conspiracy plot and the 90 minutes of puzzle solving hard to follow.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet. You start on your phone whenever suits you, and one ticket covers your whole group, so friends or family can solve the clues together as you walk.
