Yes. This is a self-guided ghost hunt through Vieux Lyon and Saint-Just, played on your phone. You play a 12-year-old lost on Halloween, following ghostly clues and solving puzzles at real places along the route. Start whenever you like, with no guide and no group to join.
Where does this spooky trail start and finish?
It starts at Place Saint-Jean and finishes at Jardin Pierre Thévenin, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass the Fourvière Catastrophe plaque, Montée du Gourguillon, Place des Minimes, the Church of Saint-Just, Turpio's Tomb, the Aqueduct of the Gier and the Fourvière Hotel. The route covers 3.2 km.
How long does the quest take, and can we pause?
Most players take just under two hours, around 100 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a snack stop or a break on the climb toward Saint-Just will not cost you your progress.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for children around 8 to 14 and for teens. The story is spooky but not too scary, and the puzzles are rated medium difficulty, so younger players may need help from an adult. Very young children may find the lost-on-Halloween theme and the 3.2 km walk a lot.

Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together, which suits families and friends. There is no time slot to book: you start at Place Saint-Jean whenever it suits you, play at your own pace and follow the app from stop to stop.

More atmosphere. It’s spooky and creepy in a theatrical way, not full-on horror. Shadows, empty streets, mysterious histories—perfect for those who like a chill thrill, not nightmares.
What time of day should I play this for maximum effect?
After sunset is ideal. As dusk falls, the city dimly lights up, shadows grow, and the ghost clues hit harder. But you can play during daylight if evenings don’t work.
