The game took us through some hidden, marvelous spots. However, I suggest the points of the map be reviewed, as not all of them points you to the right direction. Special mention to chapter 3, as you have to walk much farther than indicated. More than that, it is the second viewpoint, not the first. So even the text can’t help you.

Frequently asked questions

I want a romantic evening with music and intrigue—what should I do?

Walk through Alfama’s narrow streets as dusk settles, letting the sound of fado drift behind you. Then play Fado Murder Mystery in Alfama: solve the disappearance of Teresa do Carmo together, pause near miradouros, and let old Lisbon charm you under lantern light.

Is this murder mystery good for families or older kids?

Yes, especially for teens. The storyline has drama, but it’s not overly scary. You’ll visit beautiful landmarks like the National Pantheon and Casa dos Bicos, stop for pastel de nata, and can walk at a slow pace.

Looking for something unique to do with friends?

Definitely. Split up or team up in Alfama, compare theories, chase clues from murals to churchyards, then finish with drinks by Cais das Colunas. It’s more fun than any regular tour—story, mystery, laughter included.

Do I need to book ahead or can I start spontaneously?

You can just download the quest in the Questo app and begin whenever you want. Morning light, afternoon heat, or evening glow—all work. It’s self-guided, so you can stop for food, photos, or simply soak in the views.

What landmarks will I see, and will it feel like real Lisbon?

Yes. Expect Alfama’s winding alleys, the National Pantheon glowing in twilight, Casa dos Bicos by the River, Portal da Nossa Senhora da Conceição Velha, and finishing at Praça do Comércio. It’s Lisbon-core: history, architecture, and fado vibe all woven together.
