In this detective walking tour, you become the assistant of Signor Pazzi, a sharp-eyed Florentine private investigator, to solve the mysterious disappearance of a young nun. Follow the clues through Renaissance streets, encounter wine holes, devil sculptures, and golden footsteps, and time-travel back to 1468 to uncover the truth. The answer is not what anyone expected.

Is this a detective walking tour of Florence?
Yes. You play the assistant of Signor Pazzi, a sharp-eyed Florentine private investigator, and follow clues through Renaissance streets to solve the disappearance of a young nun. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, with the trail leading back to 1468.
Does the route pass Piazza Santo Spirito?
Yes. Piazza Santo Spirito is the second stop, right after Via d'Ardiglione. The route then continues to Madonna del Puzzo, the Accademia dei Georgofili, the Mercato del Porcellino and Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. The app leads you from place to place, so you do not need a separate map.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The walk starts and finishes at Piazza dell'Unità Italiana, so you end up back where you began. The loop covers about 2.9 km and takes around an hour. You can pause at any point and continue later if you want to stop for a coffee or a glass of wine.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet. You start whenever you like on your phone, and one ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated. Make sure your phone is fully charged or bring a power bank.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The quest is played outdoors, through streets, squares and a market, so dress for the weather. Since you can pause and pick up again later, a shower does not end the game. You can wait it out or come back another day and continue from where you stopped.
Is the kidnapping based on a real Florence case?
No. The kidnapper and story are fictional. Florence’s real streets and locations provide the setting for the game.
Is this a guided walking tour?
No. You follow the mission in the app rather than a guide, and can begin whenever it suits you.
How many tickets does our group need?
