Geneva Virus Run: Stop the Infection

About Geneva

Geneva sits at the point where the Rhone flows out of Lake Geneva, with the Alps as a backdrop and centuries of international history layered into its streets. Questo gives you a way to explore it that is more engaging than sightseeing on your own. Start near the lake and let a phone-based quest lead you through the city at your own pace, no guide required and no fixed start time.

The city has a character that surprises people. The Old Town rises steeply above the waterfront, packed with medieval lanes, the towers of Cathedrale Saint Pierre, and monuments like the Reformation Wall that mark Geneva's outsized role in European history. Down by the lake, the Jet d'Eau shoots 140 metres into the air, and the promenade connects landmarks like the Brunswick Monument and the Empress Sisi Monument in a continuous lakeside loop.

Quests here range from conspiracy-style thriller scenarios set against the city's modern identity to investigations into its darker past and stories tied to Geneva's watchmaking heritage. Whether you prefer tension and puzzles or history and curiosity, there is a route suited to your mood.

For a local touch, Bains des Paquis on the lake jetty is where Geneva residents swim in summer and eat fondue in winter. It costs almost nothing and feels nothing like a tourist attraction. The Jet d'Eau is free to visit and best seen close-up from the lakeside walkway on a clear day. Questo works well for couples, families, and groups of friends who want an active way to see the city.

Questo's Geneva quests are rated 4.5★ across 186 player reviews. Pick a quest, follow the clues, and let Geneva reveal itself one stop at a time.
