The adventure

About this quest

Forget every ghost story you've heard about this city. This Halloween, ten restless spirits are loose on its streets. 👻 No history book knows their names. No tour guide has heard of them. Most are just lost souls. One is lying to you. 💀
A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️

Is this for you?

Who it's for

Friends, couples and families with older kids get close to two hours of ghost stories, ciphers and riddles across 2.5 km of Chicago streets, from Fountain Girl past the Madlener House and Burton Place, starting whenever suits them. Puzzle and escape-room fans play the hunt instead of listening to a guide. Anyone wanting a guided night walk with a live storyteller, or young children who frighten easily, should look elsewhere.
