Yes. This is an escape-room-style game played outdoors on your phone around Mizner Park. You follow clues from place to place, hear a story inspired by L. Frank Baum's 1900 Oz novel and solve puzzles set in what is around you. It covers about 2 km and takes around an hour and a half.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts in Mizner Park in front of the Cultural Center and is a loop, so you end back in Mizner Park at E Plaza Real and NE 3rd St. Along the way you pass the Gazebo, the Amphitheater, Sanborn Square and Belladukes on E Boca Raton Rd.
Can we play as a group, or on our own?
Both work. Friends, couples and families can solve the puzzles together, and one ticket covers the whole group playing together. If you prefer to play alone, you can take on the challenges solo and compare your result on the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can we take a break?
There is no time slot to book, no group to join and no guide to meet. You start whenever you like from Mizner Park, and you can pause the game, stop for a coffee or a meal, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
Every stop is outside, on the streets and squares in and around Mizner Park, so it is best on a dry day. Because you can pause and pick the game up again later, a passing shower does not have to end your play.
