Frequently asked questions
Is this a murder mystery game we can play in Boca Raton?
It is a self-guided detective mystery played outdoors on your phone, but the case is a conspiracy rather than a murder. A whistleblower points you to The Kingmakers, a secret society said to steer world leaders, and you decode their secrets along a 2.1 km walk. Fans of murder mysteries and escape rooms are its core players.
How long does the game take?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the 2.1 km route and solve the puzzles. There is no timer forcing you along, and you can pause the game at any point, stop for a drink or a break, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story and code-breaking are pitched at adults and teenagers, and families with teens are among the groups who play it. Younger children may find a plot about a centuries-old secret society and its schemes hard to follow, and the 2.1 km walk takes around 90 minutes.
Can our group play together, and do we need to book a time?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you are ready. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, and everyone follows the same case together.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game is a walk outside through the city, with the puzzles set in what is around you, so it is not an indoor activity. If the weather turns, you can pause and pick the game up again later on a drier day.
