CONFIDENTIAL / CASE BRIEFING

The story starts here.

"When I die I will be reborn in paradise, and all those I have killed will become my slaves."

Decades ago, the Zodiac Killer carved those words into history then vanished into the fog. The case went cold. The city moved on. Until last night.

A high-security police vault has been breached. The thief ignored the cash and the narcotics but he took only one thing: the original Zodiac evidence files. Now a copycat calling himself The Disciple has scattered the 1969 artifacts across the city and marked innocent citizens for "collection," determined to finish what his Master started.

You're on the task force. Twelve locations, each tied to a Zodiac sign. No set order, only your instincts. And beware: some of them are traps designed to waste your precious time.

🔎 Crack the Zodiac's infamous ciphers, recover the stolen artifacts, and save the victims before the clock runs out. The ink is fresh, the knife is sharp, and the city is screaming for answers.

Is this for you?

Who it's for

This Atlanta edition sends you out on foot for around 90 minutes, tracking a Zodiac copycat called The Disciple through the city as you solve puzzles built around scattered 1969 case artifacts, starting whenever you choose. True-crime fans, groups of friends and couples after a dark date-night challenge will feel at home. Anyone wanting a booked indoor escape room, or a lighter story to share with children, should pick something else.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a good murder mystery game for a small group in Atlanta?
Yes. It is a self-guided murder mystery played on your phones, so a couple or a few friends can play together at their own pace. One ticket covers your whole group, and you solve puzzles about a Zodiac copycat case as you go.
Can we use it for murder mystery team building in Atlanta?
It works as a team activity: colleagues work through the clues together on their phones and share the job of cracking the puzzles. There is no guide and no fixed slot, so a team can start whenever it suits the day and pause if needed.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on around 90 minutes. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a coffee or meal break in the middle is fine and you pick the story up where you left off.
Do we need to book a time like a Zodiac escape room?
No. Unlike indoor escape rooms with booked 60-minute slots, this game starts whenever you like. It is played outdoors in the city on your phone, so check the weather and dress for it, since there is no indoor version.
Is it suitable for children?
It is aimed at adults. The story centres on the Zodiac Killer and a copycat who marks people for "collection", so the theme is dark. Families with younger children would be better served by a lighter quest.
