The experience

About this quest

Design isn’t just chairs and logos—it’s how a city moves, feels, and inspires. On this self-guided adventure through Midtown Atlanta, you’ll explore how public art shapes what we notice, how we move, and how we feel.

MODA created this quest to spark your curiosity and show how murals, sculptures, and even sidewalks are part of the city’s design story. You’ll meet giant birds, solve puzzles, and start seeing the city like a designer. Just bring comfy shoes and fresh eyes.

Is this for you?

Who it's for

Families, couples and design-curious friends who like spotting murals and sculptures will enjoy this easy puzzle walk through Midtown, from MODA past Octetra and Electric Avenue to the giant birds of Urban Birdwatching. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours and 2.4 km on foot. Anyone wanting each artwork's backstory should look elsewhere, since this hunt is puzzles only, with no stories about the places.
