It is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone. Instead of a locked room, you walk from Tiguex Park into Old Town, cracking puzzles at places such as La Jornada, The Candy Lady, Church St and Old Town Plaza while following a story inspired by the original Oz novel.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at the entrance to Tiguex Park on Mountain Rd NW at 18th St NW and finishes at Old Town Plaza Hacienda Properties. It is not a loop, so you end up in Old Town rather than back at the park. The route covers about 1.9 km.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take around 95 minutes, which includes walking between stops and solving the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is time to stop for a snack or browse the galleries along the way.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, it works well for groups of friends, families, couples or work outings, and one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no booking slot and no guide to meet: you start whenever you like from Tiguex Park.
