Why is York officially declared the most haunted city in Europe? Tonight, you find out why.
The "Veil", an ancient magical barrier that keeps York’s restless dead at bay is fracturing. The city’s protector, Keeper Elspeth Crowe, has vanished into the mist, leaving behind only a trail of panicked scribbles and arcane sigils. The barrier is failing, and the spirits are getting bold.
You are the city's last line of defense.
Step into the shoes of a paranormal investigator and pick up Elspeth’s trail where she left off. Your journey will take you from the blood-stained stones of Clifford’s Tower to the phantom legions buried beneath the Treasurer's House. You will navigate the medieval snickelways, confront tragedies etched in stone, and race to seal the breach before the clock strikes twelve.
The history books tell you what happened. This quest tells you who is still lingering. Will you mend the Veil before the dead rise unbound, or will you become just another whisper in the walls of York?
