Not in the usual sense. There is no guide and no historical hauntings. Ten fictional restless spirits roam the streets, each stuck on unfinished business. You solve each mystery to catch the spirit and earn a clue, then use the clues to name the Evil One and destroy it.
Does it play like an outdoor escape room?
It is close. A hooded Oracle sends you across town on your phone, and you crack ciphers and riddles, some of which can only be answered by looking at the street around you. Instead of escaping a room, your goal is to work out which spirit is lying and stop it.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan for around 90 minutes, covering about 1.9 km on foot. The route is outdoors, so dress for the weather. You can pause at any point and pick up the game again later if you want a break or need to stop for the day.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits older kids and teens best. The puzzles are ciphers and riddles that reward patience and careful reading, and the story is a Halloween horror plot about lost souls and an evil spirit that lies to you. Younger or easily frightened children may find it too spooky or too hard.
