Frequently asked questions
Where does the Christmas scavenger hunt in Tulsa start?
It starts at ONEOK Field. From there the app leads you along a route of about 2 km through 12 locations, including the Bob Dylan Center, The Tulsa Theater and Guthrie Green, with a puzzle or dare at each one.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan on around 90 minutes, depending on how fast your group solves the puzzles and how long you linger over the dares. You can pause at any point, warm up somewhere, and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it good for kids?
The story is lighthearted: Santa's sleigh has crash-landed and your group, as Ground Control, collects the Elements of Spirit to restart it. Children who enjoy puzzles and silly dares tend to have fun, with adults helping on trickier clues and keeping pace over the 2 km walk.
Can our family or office team play together, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so it works for family gatherings and office Christmas outings. There is no guide and no fixed slot: you start whenever you like on your phones.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The game is played outdoors as a walk between city locations, so dress for the weather and bring layers in winter. If rain or cold sets in, you can pause the game and pick it up again on another day.
