Frequently asked questions
Is this like an escape room in Tallahassee?
It uses the same mix of clues, codes and deduction as an escape room, but you play it outdoors on your phone across about 2.2 km of the city. There is no room to book. The app leads you from place to place and sets puzzles in what is in front of you.
How long does the game take?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2.2 km and solve the puzzles along the way. You do not have to finish in one go: you can pause the game at any point and continue later from where you stopped.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The story follows a secret society that has manipulated world leaders, and the puzzles are built for fans of escape rooms and mysteries, so younger children may find the plot and the code-breaking hard to follow over the full walk.
Can we play as a group on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the game. Friends, couples or a family can solve the mystery together, sharing the clues and deciding as a team how to stay ahead of The Kingmakers.
Do we need to book a start time?
No. The game is self-guided with no group or guide to meet, so you can start it any time that suits you. Open the app when you are ready and it will direct you to the first location and begin the story.
