Where does the Snohomish history walk start and finish?
It is a loop through historic downtown Snohomish. You start at Kla Ha Ya Park and finish back where you began, at The Gazebo. Along the way you pass the Wilbur Block, the Blackman House, First National Bank, Snohomish City Hall and the Oxford Saloon, among other stops.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take a little over an hour, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 1.1 km across 12 stops in the historic downtown, so it fits easily into a day of browsing the town.
Is it suitable for kids?
It suits families with school-age children who enjoy puzzles. At each stop you solve riddles, decipher codes and look closely at building details to uncover each place's history. Very young children who cannot yet read clues may need an adult to do most of the solving.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a family can follow the route and work on the puzzles as a team on a phone.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
