In this game you will explore the different types of ancient Roman entertainments and where you can still see traces of the once magnificent buildings, above and below ground.  

Visit some of the most famous sites in the historic centre of Rome as well as its lesser known spots, all the time learning about the ancient city, the Roman world and its gladiators!

Storyline

After years touring the provinces of the Roman Empire, you, a champion gladiator, have returned to the Eternal City

But fear hangs over Rome, the new emperor doesn't allow a whisper of criticism!

Last night you overheard the emperor's agents planning to assassinate the gladiator Cardo Maximus in his next fight.

Cardo Maximus, your old friend, Rome's greatest fighter, but the one with the loudest mouth!

You need to warn him! But Rome is not how you remember it. Devastated by a fire, much has changed.
