Roosevelt Row art context

An arts district created through decades of local work

Artists began adapting vacant buildings around Roosevelt Street as studios and galleries in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Phoenix’s first First Friday art walk followed in 1994 and helped establish Roosevelt Row as a walkable arts district. The stolen-masterpiece case is fictional; the murals, creative businesses and changing neighborhood are part of Phoenix’s living cultural landscape. Playable languages: English.
