Frequently asked questions
Is there an app for solving a mystery together with friends in Palm Springs?
Yes. This quest is played on your phones as you walk. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story at each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, as you work with friends to unravel a whistleblower's conspiracy.
How long does the detective game take and how far do we walk?
Plan for around 90 minutes on foot over about 2.4 km. Your pace depends on how quickly your group cracks the puzzles, and you can pause at any point and continue the game later.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, so friends or family can follow the clues together and compare answers as you go.
Do we need to book a start time?
No. There is no set time and no guide to meet. Open the app and start whenever suits you, whether that is today or at the weekend, then pause and continue later if you need a break.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The story is about a secret society, deceit and a global conspiracy, and the puzzles are pitched at players who enjoy escape rooms, so younger children may lose interest over around 90 minutes of walking.
