You search downtown Manhattan for an alchemist's formula said to bring unlimited wealth, and possibly a curse. The app tells the stories of each place and sets puzzles in the streets around you, from Fraunces Tavern and Delmonico's to the Federal Reserve Bank and South Street Seaport.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Charging Bull and finishes at Brooklyn Bridge/Pier 17, so it does not end where it began. In between you pass Stone Street, Wall Street, Federal Hall, the New York Stock Exchange, Trinity Church and South Street Seaport.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about an hour and three quarters, walking and puzzles included, over roughly 2.9 km. You can start whenever you like, pause partway through and continue later.
