Frequently asked questions
What is the secret society in this detective game?
The story centres on The Kingmakers, a fictional secret society said to have manipulated world leaders and orchestrated global events from the shadows for centuries. A whistleblower comes forward, and your job is to decode their secrets and expose the conspiracy before their next scheme is unleashed.
Where does the game start and how long does it take?
You begin at Point 1, marked LBC in the app, which then leads you from place to place. The route is about 1.9 km on foot, and you should plan for around 90 minutes, including time spent solving the puzzles along the way.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teenagers. The game is built around decoding clues and following a conspiracy plot, which suits teens who like escape rooms and mysteries. Younger children are likely to need a lot of help keeping up with the story and the puzzles.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like, and you can pause and carry on later. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and you play on your phones with no guide or other groups.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is an outdoor walk through the streets, so the weather will be part of your day. Because you can start at any time and pause whenever you need, you can choose a dry spell or stop for shelter and pick up where you left off.
