Frequently asked questions
Is this an escape room in Louisville?
It is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone in Louisville. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues from place to place and solve puzzles to outsmart the witch. You start whenever you like, with no booking slot to reserve.
Is it priced per person?
No. One ticket covers your whole group, so you pay once rather than per player. Check the quest page for the current price and the number of devices it includes.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start at the entrance to Lincoln Elementary Performing Arts School on E Main St. The route is about 2.4 km and takes around 90 minutes, passing places such as Hotel Genevieve and Biscuit Belly in NuLu. You can pause and continue later.
Is it good for kids?
Families with kids or teens play it, and the story comes from Baum's 1900 Oz novel. The puzzles are escape-room style and the walk is 2.4 km over around 90 minutes, so it suits children old enough to enjoy cracking clues and walking that far.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game is played outdoors on the streets, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and pick up where you left off later, since there is no fixed time slot to keep.
