Frequently asked questions
Is this an escape room in Lewisville?
It is an outdoor, escape-room-style game played on your phone in Lewisville. Instead of a locked room, you follow clues from stop to stop and crack puzzles hidden in what is in front of you to outsmart the witch, in a story inspired by Baum's original Oz novel.
Where does it start and how long is the route?
The game starts at Lewisville City Hall. The route covers about 2 km and 12 stops, passing places such as the Lewisville Grand Theater, the Lewisville Visitor Information Center and Wayne Ferguson Plaza. Most groups take around 90 minutes.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike an indoor escape room with fixed sessions, you start whenever you like, with no guide and no group to meet. You can also pause partway through and pick up where you left off later.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated when you buy. Friends, families and work groups can team up on the puzzles, or you can play solo and compete against the leaderboard.
Is it played outdoors, and what if it rains?
The whole game takes place outdoors on the streets of Lewisville, walking between stops. If the weather turns, you can pause the game and continue later from the same point, so dress for the conditions on the day.
