Does this quest take you inside tunnels under Guadalajara?
No. The tunnel in Guadalajara Time Tunel is a time-travel story, not a physical tunnel. You walk through the historic centre while the app takes you back to the 16th century and forward through the city's history, with a puzzle at each stop. No attraction tickets are required.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the stop called Year 1542 - Foundation and finishes at the Museum of Journalism. It is not a loop. Along the way you pass the first cathedral, the new cathedral, the Degollado Theater, the Regional Museum and the Roundabout of the illustrious people.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take just under two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 2.7 km through the historic centre. You can pause whenever you like and continue later, so there is no need to finish it in one go.
Is it free, and do we need to book a time?
It is free to play, and there is no group to join or time slot to book. You start whenever you like on your phone, and friends or family can walk it together. None of the stops require attraction tickets.
Can we play it in the evening?
The quest recommends not playing at night, so plan to walk it in daylight. With around two hours of walking and puzzles, starting by early afternoon gives you time to reach the Museum of Journalism before dark, even with a pause along the way.
