This self-guided outdoor puzzle game runs whenever you like, weekends included. It leads you through Gdansk's clocks and sundials, from St. Mary's Basilica past City Hall, the Gdansk Crane and the railway station clock tower, ending at Gradowa Mountain. Plan on a little over three hours.
Do we need to book a guide or a time slot?
No. There is no guide and no group to join. The app on your phone leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets the puzzles. You can start any time and pause, then carry on later.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at St. Mary's Basilica and finishes at Gradowa Mountain, so it does not end where it began. In between you pass City Hall, the Gdansk Crane, St. John's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Hevelius sundial and the railway station clock tower. The route is about 3.8 km.
How long does it take?
Most players take a little over three hours, including the walking and the puzzles. You do not have to do it in one go: you can pause the game and continue later, which helps if you want a coffee break along the way.
