About

Hi! My name is Alexandra, a Japanese language and culture professor, and managing partner in Japan by Myself. I have a long experience in Japanese tourism, specializing in tailor-made trips. I’ve spent a lot of time here with my studies - most recently as a Ph.D. candidate in cross-cultural business. Besides this, I'm an origami artist, which I mastered in traditional workshops throughout the country. Japan is a fascinating destination, full of contrasts, that will broaden your perspectives, and I want to let you discover its secrets through my tours.

Truly enjoyed. We saw many things we possibly would never have come across without this questo. Nice peaceful end to our questo after seeing some busy and enthralling sights.

each stop provides interesting stories and information. Directions can be ambiguous but adds to the challenge. No audio, so if travelling together no need to buy multiple tickets.

The puzzles were good for people of all skill levels, except some are out-of-date and don't match clues, plus orange/red for shrine colors puzzle is confusing, especially since shrines have been removed and replaced with pictures. Overall, a great way to guide through the area.
