The experience

About this quest

You are a Vatican archaeologist in Toulouse, sent to research the Cathar Crusades.

Then a fragile 12th-century document surfaces: a trail pointing to a great treasure hidden somewhere in the city.

Gold, silver, wealth gathered from across Roman Gaul.

The text is damaged. The trail is uncertain. But your instincts will not let it go.

Your investigation takes you through the old town: from the crooked spires of Saint-Étienne Cathedral to the golden mosaics of the Daurade church, from the Renaissance facade of the Hôtel d'Assézat to the bronze cross in the Capitole square, and finally to the Basilica of Saint-Sernin, where the answer has been waiting for eight centuries.

At each stop, a puzzle. At each puzzle, a step closer to the truth.
