A royal district repeatedly damaged and rebuilt
The Buda Castle district grew as a royal and fortified center above the Danube, then changed through Ottoman rule, Habsburg rebuilding, 19th-century expansion and severe Second World War damage. Its present appearance contains several historical layers rather than one untouched medieval city. This quest uses fictional time travel to connect them while the district’s transformations are real.
