CONFIDENTIAL / CASE BRIEFING
The story starts here.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Is this for you?
Who it's for
This 2.2 km loop from Meridian Place passes the Barrie Clock, Five Points Theatre and Trinity Anglican Church Parish Hall in around 90 minutes. Couples on a date night, friends and families with teens gather clues and question suspects in a travel blogger's death themselves. Anyone hoping for actors staging the crime over dinner, or bringing young children, may find a different outing suits them better.

Frequently asked questions
Can we do this murder mystery in Barrie today without booking a time?
Yes. There is no set time slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you, today included. You play on your own phones, and you can pause partway through and continue later if plans change.
Is this like an outdoor escape room?
It shares the puzzle solving but takes place outdoors across downtown Barrie. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, while you gather clues and interrogate suspects to work out who killed Bella Wanderlust.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The walk starts and finishes at Meridian Place. It covers about 2.2 km and 12 stops, including the Barrie Clock, Five Points Theatre and the downtown library, and takes around 90 minutes at a relaxed pace.
Can our group play together on one ticket?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. Everyone can follow along on their own phone, which suits friends, couples and party groups investigating the case together.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for older kids and teens who can follow a detective story and help solve the puzzles. The plot centres on a murder during a ghost tour, so families with younger children may prefer a lighter theme.
