About this quest

Explore the art and modernist architecture that make Barcelona one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Everybody knows Antoni Gaudí, but they don't know his secrets.

You have to play the game to unlock Gaudí knowledge and a series of hidden gems.

However, there’s a twist: you’ll discover the city’s art whilst living in the world of a "Gaudi Telenovela" featuring drama, romance, and…. death.

Follow the step by step instructions to arrive at each destination, solve puzzles and riddles, and learn about art in this fantastic city.

Is this for you?

Who it's for

From Carrer Comtal, this 2.5 km route reaches Casa de les Punxes, Sant Pau, La Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló, told as a Gaudí telenovela of romance, drama and death. Frequently asked questions

Which Gaudí buildings will we see in Barcelona on this quest?
The route takes in La Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà and Casa Batlló, along with other modernist landmarks such as Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Casa de les Punxes, Palau Macaya, Casa Amatller and Casa Lleó Morera. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts on Carrer Comtal in Barcelona. Plan on about 1 hour 45 minutes for a route of around 2.5 km. You can start any time you like, with no booking slot and no group to meet, though the quest is best played during the day.
Can we do it by bike instead of walking?
Yes, this quest can be played while riding a bicycle. The app gives step by step directions to each stop, so you can cycle between the modernist buildings and stop to read the story and solve the puzzle at each one. Daylight hours work best.
Is it suitable for children?
The puzzles and riddles suit older children and teenagers who like working things out. The storyline is styled as a telenovela with drama, romance and a death, so parents of younger children may want to judge whether that fits their family.
Can our group play together, and can we take a break?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. You can pause the quest whenever you want, for a coffee or a longer look at a facade, and continue later from where you stopped.
Does the quest focus on Gaudí's architecture?
Yes. It uses Gaudí and Barcelona’s modernist art as the central theme, combining architectural discovery with a fictional telenovela-style story of drama, romance and death.
Is this experience self-guided?
Yes. The Questo app guides you from clue to clue, with no guide or fixed start time. You can begin when it suits you and pause along the way.
How many accesses does our group need?
Classic quests sell access per device and player. Each person who wants to solve clues on their own phone needs their own access.
