Frequently asked questions
Where does the detective game start?
The walk begins at Point 1, labelled LBC in the app. Once you start, the app leads you from place to place, tells you what to look for and sets each puzzle in what is in front of you, so you do not need to plan a route.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2.5 km on foot. You set the pace, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want to stop for a coffee or a meal along the way.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story of a powerful secret society and its codes is written with adults and teenagers in mind. Families with teens tend to enjoy cracking the clues together, while younger children may find the puzzles and the walking distance hard going.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, playing together on the devices included. There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet, so you can start the mission any day and at any hour that suits you.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
It is an outdoor walk through the city, so dress for the weather. If rain arrives partway through, you can pause the game, take shelter and pick up the mission again later from where you left off.
